NASA’s $1 Billion Juno Probe Sends Back Images Of Jupiter’s Mind Blowing Beauty

Capturing images of Jupiter is no small feat – especially ones as dramatic as these. It cost over $1 Billion dollars for Juno Probe, but it may well have been worth it. Jupiter stunning – make that mind blowing beauty is simply astonishing. On December 16, 2017 NASA’s Juno spacecraft finished its 10th high-speed trip around Jupiter, but it sent back these amazing photos which can take days to reach Earth.

Juno was launched in 2011, and it took nearly five years for the probe to reach Jupiter. Of interest is that Researchers at NASA and the Southwest Research Institute receive “raw images – (which you can see on NASA’s website at raw image data) and then photo experts process the black-and-white files into the amazing images seen below!
