“Goat Yoga” For The Soul Is A Thing! People Paying Good Money!

Do you ever feel like something is missing in your life? It could be yoga class with goats. Fortunately, Lainey Morse, the honor of a farm in Albany, OR hosts a Goat Happy Hour to fulfill your dreams. You can now attend one of her outdoor yoga session and be nuzzled by goats during your sun salutations.
According to her website, Morse was a photographer for a decade, but health issues made her reevaluate her approach to life in 2015. She focused on her farm, which she aptly named “No Regrets Farm.”
“My goats are very social and friendly animals and love to interact with people,” Morse told the Oregonian. “Animals are known to have so many health benefits for humans as well, so the mix of goats and yoga seemed to fit.”
During an hour-long session, goats run around nibbling on yoga mats and cuddling with class participants. Yogis are also welcome to pause and pet the goats—all for the price of $10.
“My absolute favorite part about hosting the classes is watching how happy it makes everyone that attends,” Morse tells SELF. “The smiles on their faces when they get to interact with my mini goats is just pure bliss.”
This is just the beginning of a growing trend. If you’re not a fan of goats, you can take cat yoga, dog yoga, or bunny yoga.
“People are desperate for something that is pure and peaceful,” Morse shares in a mini-documentary about Goat Yoga. “It’s really hard to be in pain and sad when there are baby goats jumping around you.”
